1. Dress in
something that you feel comfortable in.
2. Each date last for 3
- 5 minutes, which can be a long time if you've run out of things to say.
It's a good idea to have a few questions up your sleeve in case you dry up.
However don't have a prepared list of questions as it murders the
spontaneity of your short date.
3. Don't drink to much.
Everyone knows that a couple of drinks make you feel relaxed, the problem
is one to many drinks and what you may think sounds cool will sound more
like a drunken slur to your date. Few people fancy a Drunk.
4.
Food - Be careful what you eat 24 hours
before the event. A great Curry is all very nice if your both eating it
together, however be advised that most of your short Dates will not
appreciate being blown off their seats by your Curry breath.
5,
Do not ask for anyone's number or personal details, if they want to see
you again you'll find out in the next 48 hours. If they don't and you ask,
then it will be embarrassing for you both. Stick to the rules and not only
will you have a less stressful evening but your consequent dating will be
conducted in more relaxed and safe manner. See below for safe Dating
tips. 6.
Do not tell lies - Next time you meet that person it's going to be
difficult to explain why a NASA Astronaut lives in a 3 Bedroom Semi in
Taunton or how a Top Fashion Model drives around in a 5 year old Fiesta.
7.
Be yourself - You like genuine honest people right! Well so does everyone
else. If a Romancing Dater wants to see you again and you have been
100% genuine with them on the first mini date then the chance of a
successful relationship/friendship developing are greatly enhanced.
8.
Do not use excessive swearing. The type of person that comes to a Romancing
speed dating event is not the type who will appreciate this. We all, Men
and Women alike find this offensive.
9.
Warning - Anyone found conducting themselves in a manner which we the organizers
consider to be offensive or violent towards any of our Daters will be
asked to leave the venue and will be banned from all future events. The
pleasure and safety of our Daters is our primary concern.
